Prism runs in your browser. It searches files you can already see in Google Drive and helps you change the appearance of Google Docs and Sheets. We do not collect, store, or sell your document contents.
Data we handle
Document text — temporarily
When you search Drive, Prism finds visible file IDs and fetches matching text using your own Google session. Text is kept only in chrome.storage.local for up to one hour to make repeat searches faster. It is never sent to Prism servers.
Search count and license
prismSearchCount, prismPremium, prismLicenseKey, and theme preferences are stored locally. If you enter a license key, Prism sends only that key to prism-license-worker.purrapi.workers.dev to confirm its status and expiry.
What we do not do
No Google OAuth scopes. No analytics, ads, fingerprinting, or remote code. Prism does not upload your documents.

Retention and deletion
Uninstalling Prism removes its local data. License records are retained only for billing and validation, then expire when cancelled or after their service period. Contact us to request deletion of a license record.
